Meet Carol Jungman

Leadership is what happens between people. I create reflective, experiential spaces where leaders explore assumptions, test new approaches, and grow their capacity to connect with curiosity and presence.

My Experience & Perspective

Leadership development is both personal and systemic. My coaching helps leaders deepen self-awareness while understanding the team and organizational dynamics that shape their impact. Guided by curiosity, systems thinking, and authentic communication, I support leaders in building trust, navigating complexity, and strengthening relationships across differences.

My Background

My coaching is guided by a core value of exploration. Having lived and worked internationally, I learned to question assumptions and appreciate diverse cultural perspectives. This lens shapes how I work with leaders—helping them navigate complexity with openness, adaptability, and humility.
With a Master of Science in Organization Development from Loyola University Chicago, I bring a systems-thinking approach that integrates personal leadership development with organizational dynamics. Using the practice of “self as instrument,” I help leaders recognize how their beliefs, behaviors, and presence influence others and shape the cultures around them.
My approach emphasizes experiential learning and connection. Leaders develop best through dialogue, reflection, and shared learning. In addition to coaching, I co-facilitate the Interpersonal Dynamics course at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, where these same principles help MBA students develop emotional awareness and leadership authenticity & presence.

Common Reasons to Work with Me Include...

When communication breaks down, trust erodes, or conflict becomes unproductive, leadership coaching can support understanding the deeper dynamics at play and learning how to foster healthier, more effective relationships.

Many executives seek leadership coaching to grow their ability to communicate clearly, listen deeply, and influence others with authenticity and confidence.

Stepping into a new role—whether as a first-time leader or moving into senior leadership—often requires new ways of thinking and leading. Leadership coaching provides space to reflect, experiment, and develop an authentic leadership style.

Leadership teams often want to improve collaboration, surface unspoken assumptions, and strengthen their ability to work together toward shared goals.

Periods of change can surface uncertainty, resistance, and competing priorities. Leadership coaching supports leaders to navigate complexity, maintain alignment, and guide their teams through transition.
